Valeria, born and raised in Costa Rica, obtained her Bachelor in Film Production at Veritas University besides technical and complementary courses at INA. Had worked in different areas in film production and that had let her became a AD/ Production Manger/Fixer. She worked producer, ad and fixer in Cannes Award winning short film Follow t
Valeria, born and raised in Costa Rica, obtained her Bachelor in Film Production at Veritas University besides technical and complementary courses at INA. Had worked in different areas in film production and that had let her became a AD/ Production Manger/Fixer. She worked producer, ad and fixer in Cannes Award winning short film Follow the Frog.
Her filmography includes an award winning as best art director in Muestra de Cine Costarricenses 2007. In 2020 she co directed the short film called Quédate en la Orilla, as a part of a quarantine project called Secuelas de la Cuarentena. This short film was also screened at the Latino Short Fest of New York. Valeria has also worked as an additional second AD in the feature film Will Smith’s After Earth. Also worked in James Bond film. As a fixer she has developed projects for BBC travel , PBS, NBC, CNN Create, Granada Media, NRK TV, among others. She’s currently based in San José, Costa Rica.
